BioChemistry – By Vitros 4600
Biochemistry is the application of chemistry to the study of biological processes at the cellular and molecular level. It emerged as a distinct discipline around the beginning of the 20th century when scientists combined chemistry, physiology, and biology to investigate the chemistry of living systems.
At our centre we use most advance Biochemistry analyser Vitros 4600 by Johnson and Johnson. The machine that works on concept of dry chemistry without using water and no wastage of reagent it has a capacity of performing 900 test per hour.
The Tests Included in Biochemistry are:
Electrolytes, Renal Function Test, Liver Function Test, Cardiac Markers, Minerals, Vitamins, Glucose, Hb1Ac, etc.

Haematology, is the study of the cause, prognosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases related to blood. It involves treating diseases that affect the production of blood and its components, such as blood cells, haemoglobin, blood proteins, bone marrow, platelets, blood vessels, spleen, and the mechanism of coagulation. Such diseases might include haemophilia, blood clots, other bleeding disorders and blood cancers such as leukemia, multiple myeloma, and lymphoma etc.
